Jack stand test

My only issue with that test, is they are pushing directly down from the top. Often time with jackstands, you're putting a slightly sideways load on it too, and thats where the cheaper ones are prone to failure.

I have both and most often I choose the cheaper ones because they have a flat saddle. The better ones have that crescent shaped, cast, saddle that doesn't provide a flat support for vehicle frames.
